Abstract
PERANCANGAN BUKU POP UP TENTANG HEWAN LAUT SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERCERITA UNTUK ANAK PAUD INTAN ABSTRAK Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memegang peran penting dalam membentuk dasar perkembangan anak, termasuk pengembangan literasi dan pengetahuan awal. Buku pop up telah diakui sebagai media yang menarik dan efektif dalam pembelajaran anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan buku pop up sebagai media pembelajaran cerita dengan fokus pada hewan laut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas buku pop up dalam meningkatkan minat baca dan pemahaman anak-anak terhadap hewan laut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon positif dari anak-anak dan guru terhadap penggunaan buku pop up, mengindikasikan bahwa buku ini tidak hanya sebagai alat kreatif tetapi juga efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi dan pengetahuan di kalangan anak usia dini. Kata Kunci: Buku pop up, Media Pembelajaran, Literasi DESIGNING A POP UP BOOK OF MARINE ANIMALS AS STORYTELLING LEARNING MEDIA FOR PAUD INTAN CHILDREN ABSTRACT Early childhood education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and learning of young children, particularly in developing their reading abilities and foundational knowledge. Pop up books are regarded as playful and effective instruments for facilitating children's learning. This research aims to design and implement pop up books to assist preschoolers in learning about stories, specifically highlighting marine creatures. The research adopts a quantitative methodology. The process entails watching, engaging in discussions, and examining different resources to assess the impact of pop up books on children's interest in reading and their understanding of marine life. The findings indicated that children and teachers had a preference for using pop up books. This indicates that these books provide an enjoyable method for young children to develop reading skills and acquire knowledge. Keywords: Pop Up Book, Learning Media, Literacy
