Abstract
Muniah, Nurcahyo, Heru, Susiyarti 2025, An Overview of Medication Compliance Level in Prolanis Patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Group at UOBF Bulakamba Health Center, Brebes Regency. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin function, or both. Non-compliance in the use of medication in type 2 DM patients can cause uncontrolled glucose, thereby increasing the risk of complications. To improve the quality of life of type 2 DM patients, BPJS is holding PROLANIS which is expected to suppress and reduce the incidence of the disease. This research aimed to determine the level of medication compliance in type 2 DM PROLANIS patients. This is an observational research with a descriptive nature and prospective data collection. Data were taken from type 2 DM PROLANIS patients at UOBF Bulakamba Health Center using the MMAS-8 questionnaire containing 8 questions with three categories, namely high compliance, moderate compliance, and low compliance. The results showed the description of the level of compliance with taking medication in Prolanis patients with type II diabetes mellitus group at UOBF Bulakamba Health Center, Brebes Regency, found a high level of compliance of 14 patients (47%), a moderate level of compliance of 9 patients (30%) and a low level of compliance of 7 patients (23%).
