Abstract
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine is an effective form of cervical cancer prevention. HPV vaccine works by providing immunity to several types of HPV virus that most often cause cervical cancer, namely types 16 and 18. This research was quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The respondents were 390 women of childbearing age aged 20-45 years who live in Tegal Regency using an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The research results showed that the average age of respondents was 26 years old, with a college education of (62.1%), occupation as student (33.1%), and respondents have family income of (50.0%). Respondents who never received information about HPV vaccination were (34.1%). Respondents who had not participated in HPV vaccination were (87.9%).
