Abstract

Overview of Drug Management at the Budi Farma Putra Pharmacy Drug management is a series of activities involving aspects of planning, procurement, storage and distribution of drugs that are managed optimally to ensure the accuracy of the number and types of pharmaceutical supplies by utilizing available sources. This study aims to determine how the description of drug management at the Budi Farma Pangkah Pharmacy. This research method is descriptive qualitative, interpreting and telling the data in relation to the current situation. The research was conducted through direct observation of the current system, accompanied by in-depth interviews with informants involved in the implementation of drug supply management. The population in this study were pharmacy employees at Apotek Budi Farma Pangkah. The sample used in this study was a pharmacist and TTK Budi Farma Pangkah, sampling technique was also used in determining the sample. As explained by Notoadmojo (2010) that there are two types of sampling that can be used in research, namely the Probability sampling technique and Non Probability sampling. The type of sampling in this study is Non Probability sampling with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. From the results of research and interviews, it can be concluded that drug management at the Budi Farma Pangkah Pharmacy, namely planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, and destruction is not in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 73 of 2016, Minister of Health RI No. 74 of 2016, and Minister of Health Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia in 2011. Because in the process of managing drug supplies, there are still a few shortcomings, namely the procurement of drugs in excess so that there are drugs that have expired.
